The Ceiling Rate is the maximum price per night per unit.
Example:
Base Rate: $100
Ceiling Rate Setting: $110
The Published Rate will never sell above $110 per night.
The Ceiling Rate Percent is the maximum percent increase of the base rate, so the selling rate will not exceed the base rate plus the percent increase.
Example:
Base Rate: $100
Ceiling Rate Percent Setting: 25%
The Published Rate will never sell above $125 per night.
