They do not. Occupancy calculations work based on excluding or including non-paying reservation types such as Owner Blocks or Maintenance Blocks, not based on Parent/Child Logic. 


If we include Parent/Child logic blocks to be excluded from the occupancy calculations in Max Yield we are technically leaving money on the table because you cannot book the other versions of that unit, since they are blocked. In most cases, if the occupancy is "up" that means that rates go up for the most part for the remaining units within the occupancy group. 

 

We recommend adjusting rates and consider that when a version like this is booked you "lost" the opportunity to rent in other versions.
