Length of Stay Pricing will consider any STAY night that the LOS map touches
Length of Stay Pricing is not based on check in or check out
Length of Stay pricing will apply when any reservation reaches a number of days defined on the map, AND stays on any date defined on the map, regardless of check in or check out.
Example 1: LOS Pricing will apply and CTA/CTD is overridden
RevMax Settings:
CTA/CTD 11/25-11/29
LOS Map:
4-night stay length is defined on the map, for the dates 11/30-12/20
Booking Result:
LOS will Override CTA on 11/28
11/28 is not on the LOS Map: Normal Price
11/29 is not on the LOS Map: Normal Price
11/30 is on the LOS Map: 30% price increase
12/1 is on the LOS Map: 30% price increase
Example 2: LOS will NOT apply, CTA honored
RevMax Settings:
CTA/CTD on for 11/25-11/29 (same as example 1)
LOS Map (Same as example 1)
Looking at a 5-night stay
Booking Result:
CTA on 11/25 honored
all days regular pricing
check out is 11/30, 11/30 is NOT OCCUPIED: Therefore, LOS will not apply
Example 3: LOS will not activate, CTA honored
RevMax Settings:
CTA/CTD on for 11/25-11/29 (same as example 1)
LOS Map (Same as example 1)
Looking at a 3-night stay
Booking Result:
CTA is honored
Pricing is Normal all 3 days
Even though 11/30 night is occupied, LOS will not apply
Reason: there is no 3 days stay length on the LOS map
