The Base Rate Slider lets you preview a new starting price for future dates before applying the change. The feature is still being validated, so availability and final behavior may vary by account.

How it works: Move the slider, review the updated rate graph, and select Apply only when you are ready to save the change.

What does the Base Rate Slider do?

It changes the base rate RevMaxGo uses as the starting point for pricing across all future dates. Moving the slider allows you to preview the effect on the rate graph before saving the change.

Where can I find it?

The slider is located on the RevMaxGo tab. If you do not see it, contact RevMax Support to confirm whether it is available for your account.

Does moving the slider immediately change my live rates?

No. Moving the slider is intended to show a preview only. Your change is not saved until you select Apply. Because this workflow is still being validated, review the rate graph carefully before applying the change.

What should I check before selecting Apply?

Confirm that the proposed base rate fits your pricing goals. Then review the rate graph and verify that you want the change to apply to all future dates. Select Apply only after you are comfortable with the preview.

Which dates will the new base rate affect?

The slider is intended to update the base rate for all future dates. If you only want to adjust a specific date range, use the manual rate-change option instead. That option allows you to choose a selected period or make an ongoing adjustment.

What does the midpoint on the slider mean?

The midpoint represents the original base rate generated by RevMaxGo. It gives you a reference point when deciding whether to increase or decrease the base rate.

Will every nightly rate change by the same amount?

Not necessarily. The base rate is only the starting point. RevMaxGo may adjust the final rate for each date based on other pricing rules, including Rollover, MaxYield, and the rate floor. Review the rate graph to see how the change affects your rates before selecting Apply.

What happens if I leave the page without selecting Apply?

Your preview should not be saved. To keep the adjustment, select Apply before leaving the page. An unsaved-changes warning has not yet been confirmed, so do not rely on a reminder when closing or navigating away.

Where can I get help?

Contact RevMax Support if you need help using the slider, choosing the right adjustment method, or confirming whether the feature is available for your account.
